I re-used a washed out grapes container and made a "Ff sensory bin" this week. We talked about things that start with the LOTW before and gathered things that start with the LOTW too, but there's something about putting the stuff in a container that the kids love!
They loved discovering the items...
Flowers...friends (pictures from our prayer sticks), fish, ...
...football, firetruck (really?! another picture...haha), fruit/food, ...
"Oh what is that?" "Is that a fish?" "Can you say fish?"
And feathers start with F! So we decorated our big F with feathers...
We did some coloring pages of fish and frog from WordWorld...
F for firefighter...I introduced the concept of adding to my 3 year old with a firefighter addition book and we did a firetruck number puzzle...
The firefighters ride in the completed firetruck...
F for flag...
Blowing on pieces of paper after was sooo fun too!
F for fish...
A huge hit were these counting fish bowls. You put the right number of fishy crackers in the bowl (number 1-6 written on bowls).
F for flower...
Garden Counting Game--get the ladybug to her right home/flower.
Introduced 'littlest to biggest' and 'matching' with this flower game...
And we had fun blowing the papers everywhere too...
Caterpillar counting game with flowers...
Rubber stamped 'F's and added flowers I found in my craft stuff...
Fall Fox using leaves (yea--pinterest!)...we had a friend visit with this one! :)
And lots of worksheet practice...
Ff tracing, circle words you see start with letter f, scissor practice F book, F mini book, F for fruit ...
